The Erasmus+ Programme

“Erasmus+ is the European Union programme for education, training, youth, and sport in Europe. Erasmus+ offers millions of Europeans the chance to study, train, and gain experience abroad.”

Erasmus + for the period 2021-2027

The 2021-2027 programme to which Centrale Lille is contributing supports actions in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport. It is divided into 3 key actions:

  • Key action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals
  • Key action 2: Cooperation among organisations and institutions
  • Key action 3: Support to policy development and cooperation

The Erasmus + programme for higher education contributes to the realisation of a European Higher Education Area by pursuing several objectives including:

  • Improving the quality and strengthening the European dimension of higher education;
  • Increasing the mobility of students, teachers and university staff;
  • Strengthening multilateral cooperation;
  • Transparency and recognition of qualifications acquired;
  • The internationalisation of European higher education institutions.

The programme promotes mobility actions in Europe and internationally for students (periods of study or work experience), teaching staff, as well as all staff of higher education institutions, to enable them to strengthen their skills and increase their employability. It also facilitates cooperation initiatives through partnership projects.
