Laboratories & Partners

Centrale Lille firmly anchors its research in the Lille area, where it intends to play a major role.

This is demonstrated in particular by its significant commitment to the « Université Lille Nord-Europe (ULNE) », project, awarded the I-SITE label in February 2017 as part of the Plan d’Investissement d’Avenir (PIA 2), which aims to make the Lille site a site of excellence ranked among the top fifty European universities within ten years.

To this end, Centrale Lille works closely with its natural partners in higher education, i.e. universities and research organizations, including the University of Lille, CNRS, Inria Lille Nord-Europe, the Lille Regional University Hospital (CHRU) and ONERA.

This close collaboration is expressed, in particular, through joint structures such as: joint laboratories and five international associated laboratories (LIA): LICS (France-Russia), CATSEC (France-India), CAT&P4BIO (France-Japan), LIA2MCIS (France-China) and the LIA “Énergie et Environnement” (France-Brazil). The LIA LICS (France-Russia), initiated and supported by Centrale Lille, has been highlighted by the CNRS as an example of cooperation with Russia. It also involves joint project teams (3 with INRIA), shared technology platforms, PIA tools and shared or even co-constructed research training tools (SATT, IRT, ITE, Equipex, 3 doctoral schools, co-accredited masters degrees, etc.). These partners spearhead the implementation of Centrale Lille’s scientific policy, and we reaffirm our commitment to working alongside them.
