Campus France and the consular network
Campus France agency
Campus France is a public body responsible for promoting French higher education abroad and welcoming foreign students and researchers to France. It encourages international mobility, manages scholarship programmes, and coordinates the network of former international students in France.
Campus France provides foreign students and researchers with tools to help them find out more about French higher education establishments and find the right one for their project.
The training offer of French establishments is promoted by various tools and actions of Campus France:
- On its website with the Diplomas, Fields, Establishments or Welcome pages;
- Online catalogues listing bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees, and courses taught in English in France;
- At events organised in France and abroad in collaboration with Campus France offices abroad;
- By integrating into establishments the scholarship students funded by the French government or funded through agreements signed with foreign governments or other entities (companies, foundations, etc.).
To carry out all of its tasks, Campus France has a strong national and international base:
- 220 people working in Paris and the 5 regional offices in Lyon, Marseille, Montpellier, Strasbourg and Toulouse;
- 255 Campus France locations in 124 countries within the French diplomatic network.
Multilingual websites are available for each country in which we operate. Find all the information about Campus France, its tools and links to country sites via the agency’s website Campus France

France Alumni: a platform serving international alumni in France
The France Alumni network is a network of international alumni of French higher education. It allows you to keep in touch with your fellow students and increase your career opportunities.
Present in more than 100 countries, the France Alumni platform lists more than 325,000 students and former students of French higher education (June 2020). It enables them to maintain a strong link with France by publishing articles and organising meetings and events around the world.
The France Alumni directory functions as a professional social network. It enables you to find contacts within the companies you are interested in so that you can make the most of your qualifications and your French experience. You can create a profile, fill in your personal details and contact former classmates or any other member of the network.
France Alumni helps you develop your career by providing you with numerous internship and job offers, both in France and abroad. You can also benefit from insights and testimonials from alumni who have turned their French experience into a catalyst for professional success.
We strongly encourage Centrale Lille’s international students to register as soon as their mobility period begins on the France Alumni platform.
