Training and research are the foundation of all Centrale Lille’s missions. They contribute to the school’s international recognition in four areas: Digital – Energy – Environment – Health.

Centrale Lille is developing its research along a continuum ranging from fundamental research to applied research and innovation, with 5 strategic objectives:

Strengthen the excellence of its research and cultivate its specific features
Develop research partnerships with the socio-economic sector and spin-offs
Boost interdisciplinary synergy
Strengthen synergies between training and research missions
Increase recognition of Centrale Lille’s doctoral degree.
